Forensic Science Summer Camp

2025 WVU Forensic Science Summer Camp

What is the Forensic Science Summer Camp?

The Next Generation Forensic Science Initiative in collaboration with the Department of Forensic and Investigative Science at West Virginia University will be hosting its annual forensic science summer camp for high school students who are entering the 11th or 12th grade in fall 2025.

Through both conceptual and experiential learning, students will acquire practical knowledge and employ techniques that forensic scientists use in their day-to-day casework.

The summer camp focuses on the fundamentals of numerous topics studied throughout the week and concludes at our Crime Scene Training Complex with mock crime scenes.

Please see more information and the interest list form below.
